How Allure Editors Are Staying Busy During Coronavirus Pandemic — Self-Care
With so many people confined to their homes right now due to the coronavirus outbreak, it’s crucial to find ways to not only keep busy but also calm amid the chaos as well.
This, of course, looks different for everybody: While some folks find solace in baking or cooking to music, others turn to self-care tactics such as at-home workouts, meditation, podcasts, and playing with makeup, which are just a few of many activities that can help with alleviating anxiety.
As for the Allure team, some of us are sticking to our usual makeup and skin-care routines to instill a sense of normalcy and help with stress, while others are taking the opportunity to watch new shows and movies that have been on their must-see list for a while now. Podcasts are proving to be an excellent distraction, too.
With this in mind, we’re sharing everything that the team is doing during this time to avoid cabin fever and keep spirits up. Because while there’s nothing we can do to change the situation we’re in, there’s at least a small amount of comfort in knowing that we’re all in this together.
